Chris Brown leaps into action in the cinematic video for “Fine China,” the first single off his upcoming album X.
Breezy shows his romantic side and some slick moves in the martial arts-themed clip, which he co-directed with Sylvain White (Stomp the Yard). The song is rumored to be inspired by his relationship with ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran.
“I wanted to go with a film director to set the mood and bring that artistic side to it. I’m not one who always loves to stand in front of the camera with flashy cars and big booty girls all the time,” he told Billboard. “In this video, you’ll see me taking care of the girl, doing gentlemanly things—showing another side of me. I know my female audience sees it. But the naysayers might say, ‘No, that’s not him.'”
Chris told Angie Martinez that he plans to release 10 music videos by the time his album drops in July or August.
