Miley Cyrus has been getting lots of attention for her twerk video, and now she’s about to get even more for a new song with Snoop Dogg.
During an interview with Ryan Seacrest, the pop star confirmed that she and the West Coast rap icon have collaborated. “I did a song with Snoop and it’s coming out very, very soon,” she said. “I’m so excited about it.”
Miley has also worked with Wiz Khalifa, Tyler, the Creator, Mary J. Blige, and Mike WiLL Made It (“Bandz a Make Her Dance”) on her upcoming album.
“I want this record to be different and a bunch of passion projects which the first thing I wouldn’t have calculated like, ‘Oh the first song I want to come out is me and Snoop Dogg,'” she said.
“I never thought that would be [my first single], I’d think it’d be my own single first but I’ve been able to do these things where I’ve just been in the studio at the right time and these projects have just magically come.”
Earlier in the week, Miley posted a video twerking to J. Dash’s dance track “Wop” while wearing a unicorn onesie. The video, which she recorded on a whim, has become a viral sensation and racked up millions of views.
