“Miss Amor” is no more. Azealia Banks has decided to go in a different direction with the first single from her highly-anticipated debut.
Despite previous plans to release “Miss Amor” and the B-Side “Miss Camaraderie,” the Harlem rapper has announced that “Yung Rapunxel” will serve as the lead single off her Interscope debut Broke With Expensive Taste.
The song, produced by Lil Internet, will be released on February 12.
“BIG CHANGE OF PLANS,” tweeted Azealia. “My first single is actually not going 2 be Miss Amor / Miss Camaraderie. It’s goin 2 be a song called ‘YUNG RAPUNXEL’ prod. By @LILINTERNET.”
The album, due later this year, follows her 2012 mixtape Fantasea and EP 1991, which spawned the hit single “212.”
