Miguel and Alicia Keys

Alicia Keys and Miguel have made magic in the studio and now they’re taking it one step further. The R&B superstars are teaming up for a tour next spring.

On Tuesday, Alicia hosted a YouTube live stream/Google+ Hangout to premiere her new album Girl on Fire. She played each track and spoke about the story behind it. She was joined by some of her friends and collaborators including Maxwell, Miguel, and Emeli Sandé via video conference.

During the two-hour listening session, she revealed that she will be hitting the road with Miguel next year.

“I think me and Miguel are going on tour together. It’s happening in March,” said Alicia, who worked with the “Adorn” singer on “Where’s the Fun in Forever” off his album Kaleidoscope Dream.

“Miguel is one of the flyest songwriters. The way you piece ideas and concepts and thoughts, you are really special,” Alicia told Miguel, who is currently on tour with Trey Songz and Elle Varner.

She also played her duet with Maxwell, “Fire We Make.” “This is Maxwell’s first duet and I didn’t even know that,” said Alicia, who opened for the R&B icon early in her career.

Maxwell had glowing things to say about his collaborator. “I knew instantly that you were going to be a legend,” he told Alicia. “This is the most graceful, the most patient, the most observational [woman]. There’s so much class with Alicia Keys.”
