106 & Park Hosts

Bow Wow is coming home to “106 & Park.” Following the departure of Terrence and Rocsi last week, the 25-year-old rapper-actor has been named one of the new hosts of BET’s “106 & Park.”

He made his debut today alongside three other co-hosts, putting an end to the speculation. Nicknamed “Mr. 106 & Park,” Bow Wow has the most appearances in the show’s 12-year show history and has guest hosted several times.

After a nationwide search, BET selected Ms. Mykie, 23; Paigion, 24; and Shorty Da Prince, 23 as his co-hosts. Ms. Mykie, hailing from Houston, TX, Paigon, and Shorty Da Prince, both from Detroit, competed against thousands of hopefuls to earn their spot. They will join Bow Wow five nights a week from BET’s studios in New York City.

“I am very excited to take on this new journey in my career with BET. I’m all about branding myself and not just in music, but in TV and movies,” said Bow Wow, who is readying his Cash Money debut Underrated. “Everyone always wants to compare me to the Fresh Prince, well now they can call me the Fresh Prince of 106 & Park. Get ready for a whole new world.”

During his first day on the job, Bow Wow interviewed Keke Palmer and bonded with his co-hosts. “It’s official. We ain’t goin’ nowhere,” he said. “We gonna represent hip-hop, the culture, fashion, lifestyle.”
