Game has attempted to launch his R.E.D. Album with a few underperforming singles, but this time he thinks he’s found the right one. The Compton rapper is set to drop his new joint “Red Nation” in the next few weeks, according to production team Cool & Dre.
“Excited about @thegame single Red Nation dropping in the next 2 to 3 weeks. Finally!” tweeted the hitmaking duo.
Though Game remains mum on details surrounding his fourth LP, he revealed that Pharrell is still executive producing the project, which may include production from Dr. Dre and guests Wiz Khalifa and Chris Brown. The announcement of a new single could mean that R.E.D. will end up in stores sooner than expected.
Game previously shared the reason for the delay in an interview with staging-rapup.kinsta.cloud. “There’s a lot more that goes into it than just putting a burn in the CD, throwing it in the package, and putting it in Best Buy,” he explained. “I’ve been touring, I had a daughter, the label politics, the timing, other people having to drop, picking the right single… There’s a lot of things that go into a major distributed album and the timing hasn’t been right yet.”
