Lady Gaga’s new music is getting a fashionable debut. A newly released remix to a track from her upcoming album Born This Way (May 23) provides the soundtrack to a fashion film shot in Montreal and directed by photographer Mariano Vivanco. The upbeat club record features a synth-heavy beat and deadpan German lyrics.
The outrageous pop star created the song especially for Nicola Formichetti’s first menswear show for the house of Mugler, which took place yesterday in Paris. She remixed the track with Formichetti in mind, supplying him with the song as a thank you for being her personal stylist.
“I love him, my friend the genius, my collaborator, more more than any piece of clothing or closet I possess. But don’t tell him I said that, he’ll die. He picked them all out,” Gaga said of Formichetti, who she calls “Fashion’s Freedom.”
