Kid Cudi rages onto the Billboard 200 this week, scoring a top 5 debut with his sophomore album Man on the Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager. The G.O.O.D. Music signee lands at No. 3 behind Susan Boyle and Taylor Swift, selling a substantial 169,000 copies of his moody LP.
The “Erase Me” rapper bests last year’s Man on the Moon: The End of Day, which bowed at No. 4 with 104,000 copies sold in its first week. His debut album has moved 493,000 units to date.
Cudi’s collaborator Cee Lo Green also makes a top 10 debut with his third solo LP The Lady Killer, which enters at No. 9 with 42,000 copies. Lil Wayne remains in the top 10, dropping five spots to No. 10 with another 35,000 sold of his latest I Am Not a Human Being.
