Save the drama for your mama. After a fan-fueled feud that never seemed to go away, Ciara and Keri Hilson are going on the record to put an end to their rumored beef once and for all.
The R&B singers silenced the rumor mill, appearing together in a Ustream session on Monday. “Thank you guys for supporting us. Hopefully now our fans can support each other,” said Keri, while Ciara interjected, “Spread the love!”
The two have been battling rumors since Keri recorded a remix to “Turnin’ Me On,” which some took as a diss to Ciara. “Deuces. No more interviews about it,” declared Keri. “This is the last time we’ll talk about it hopefully.”
Ciara, who fired back at the haters on “Basic Instinct (U Got Me),” is sick of addressing the topic in interviews. “Radio interviewers, there’s nowhere you can really go with this, at least from my perspective,” she said. “There’s so many better things to talk about and the last thing I want to do is sit down talking about some drama.”
The ladies are sending a message with their unity. “We’re women, supporting women, uplifting each other,” added CiCi.
“The boxing gloves are in the corner over here. We’re good,” laughed Keri, before Ciara jokingly put them back on.
No word on whether they’ll be uniting on wax for a collaboration, which Keri hinted at during an interview with Angie Martinez on Hot 97.
