After remaining mum, Ciara has finally given her fans what they’ve been waiting for—an official album release date!
The R&B singer’s fourth effort Basic Instinct, originally scheduled for a summer release, will hit stores just in time for the holidays on December 14. She confirmed the date, which was previously listed on Amazon.com, in a Ustream session on Tuesday night. The project boasts the singles “Ride,” Speechless,” and “Gimmie Dat,” for which she delivered a video this week.
“Now it’s time to go back, it’s time to throw on my sneakers, it’s time to just really get bossy for a couple of seconds,” she previously told staging-rapup.kinsta.cloud of Instinct, which marks a return to her roots. Tricky Stewart and The-Dream are executive producers.
Ciara will face competition from Young Jeezy’s TM 103 and Diddy-Dirty Money’s oft-delayed Last Train to Paris, which pull into stores the same day.
