Lloyd

While his first single “Lay It Down” is still climbing the charts, Lloyd plans to stir up a little controversy with the follow-up, which features a special guest.

Speaking to Rap-Up TV on set of his video shoot for “Lay It Down” in West Hollywood, Lloyd revealed that “Let’s Get It In” will be the second single from his upcoming album King of Hearts.

The R&B crooner, who recently cut off his trademark braids, teased with a few details. “It’s featuring someone who I always really wanted to work with,” he said. “It’s very controversial. It’s gonna be awesome. It’s gonna be the shit.”

Another collaboration he’s excited about is with Soulja Boy. “Working on some @souljaboy new shit,” tweeted Young Goldie. “Sounds amazin. I’m feelin myself. Yall aint ready.”

Polow Da Don is executive producing Lloyd’s fourth album, his first on Zone 4/Interscope Rrecords, which has been moved up from its February release to December. “It will be one of the top 5 best albums of 2010,” declared Lloyd.
