Soulja Boy Tell’em may be making headlines for other activities, but he hopes all the attention will be on his music when his new album drops this fall.
The 20-year-old rapper, who landed on Forbes’ “Hip-Hop Cash Kings” list, will release his third album The DeAndre Way on November 2, staging-rapup.kinsta.cloud has learned. It was previously set for an October 5 release.
His street anthem “Pretty Boy Swag” is currently No. 34 on the Billboard Hot 100, while his radio single “Blowing Me Kisses” will be released to iTunes on August 31. The Boi-1da-produced “Speakers Going Hammer” is set to follow.
Music isn’t the only thing on Soulja Boy’s plate. He’s also expected to star in a film written by Nick Cannon. “Me and Nick Cannon have been talking back and forth for, like, the last year about a movie idea,” he told MTV News. Production is scheduled to commence in November.
