Last week, Robin Thicke celebrated his 33rd birthday in New York City with his closest family and friends, including Beyoncé and Jay-Z. staging-rapup.kinsta.cloud caught up with the R&B crooner after the buzz wore off, where he opened up about his relationship with the famous couple.
“My relationship with the two of them is just awe,” revealed Thicke on set of his video for “It’s in the Mornin'” in Malibu. “I think they’re amazing human beings and amazing talents, and they get better and better with age like fine wines.”
The father-to-be spoke highly of Hov, who collaborated with him on “Meiplé” from his latest album Sex Therapy. “Jay is a good friend and a godfather to a lot of us young artists,” he shared. “He gives great advice and he’s been very helpful to me in my career.”
As for Mrs. Carter? “Beyoncé put me on tour with her years ago, my first big tour like that, so I’m always in debt to her for that.”
Robin Thicke can currently be seen playing arenas across the country with Alicia Keys on her “Freedom” tour, which wraps April 10 in Oakland, Calif.
