Toni Braxton may be best known for her ballads, but she can still shake up the dance floor, as she does on “Looking at Me” from the recording sessions for her new album Pulse, due February on Atlantic Records. The Lucas Secon production recalls Beyoncé’s “Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It).” Pulse will feature contributions from Trey Songz, Robin Thicke, Ne-Yo, and David Foster.

Jesse McCartney won us over with his 2008 album Departure and the singles “Leavin'” and “How Do You Sleep?” In between writing for Toni Braxton and providing the voice of Theodore in Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel, he is hard at work on his fourth studio album. The 22-year-old heartthrob is bound to make more hearts melt with “Tonight Is Your Night,” which may appear on his next album.
