She’s worked with Akon and Cassidy and even performed with Lil Wayne, but it’s Jay-Z who Leona Lewis would most like to collaborate with.
Although she admits to not listening to much hip-hop, the soft-spoken singer cites Jay-Z as the rapper she’d like to team up with. “I like Jay-Z, if any rapper,” the 24-year-old Brit tells staging-rapup.kinsta.cloud. “I’m not into rap music. But if anyone, it would be Jay-Z.”
Before she does that, the “Happy” songstress better brush up on her Jigga catalog starting with The Blueprint 3, which she’s yet to hear. “I haven’t actually [heard the album]. I’ve just heard the single with Rihanna and I think it’s really cool. I love it. I have to listen to that for sure.”
Lewis’ sophomore album Echo goes on sale November 17 featuring contributions from Justin Timberlake, Ryan Tedder, Max Martin, and Novel.
