Usher’s Here I Stand debuted at No. 1 on The Billboard 200 with 433,000 copies sold in its first week. The fifth studio album from Usher is the second biggest debut this year behind Mariah Carey’s E=MC² (463,000).
Coming in at No. 2 is the Sex in the City movie soundtrack featuring music from Fergie, Jennifer Hudson, and Run-D.M.C. It moved 66,000 copies to become the highest debut for a multi-artist theatrical film soundtrack since 50 Cent’s Get Rich or Die Tryin’ in November 2005.
Fergie’s re-release of The Dutchess enters the charts at No. 46 with 11,000, while Mariah’s E=MC² drops from 7-8 with a 20% sales decrease to 36,000.
