Kim Kardashian is standing up for her family amid Kanye West’s attacks.
During Thursday’s episode of “The Kardashians” on Hulu, the Skims mogul reacted to learning that her ex had a “rap song” on the way. Kim received a text from a friend, which alerted her to the fact that Ye was potentially dissing the mother of his kids.
“Very classy,” Kim sarcastically says before telling her family that Ye was about to drop a new song. “It means he’s talking mad s**t about me and probably saying whatever.”
It’s unclear which song the text was referring to, but based on the timing, it could have been his collaboration with The Game, “Eazy,” on which Ye threatens to “beat Pete Davidson’s ass.”
Kim’s mother, Kris Jenner, voiced her disapproval upon hearing that Ye was potentially bashing the family. “You’re the mother of his kids and have done nothing but be great to him,” she tells Kim.
“When people are saying disparaging things about any of us, it hurts all of us, because one day your kids are going to read all of it and see all of it,” Kris later says in a confessional.
Khloé also came to her sister’s defense. “Most men are not trashing the mother of their kids like that publicly,” she says.
Kim ends by apologizing to her family for the way Ye has treated them and vows to never let it happen again. “I do recognize the impact my relationship has had on my family and I’ve never had the opportunity to say, I’m sorry, guys,” she says. “I’ve protected that for so long, but I said, I will never let that happen to you guys again.”
Kanye reportedly agreed to stop harassing Kim and her boyfriend and canceled his performance at Coachella amid reports that he was “going away to get help.” On Wednesday night, Ye was spotted with his daughter North in Malibu for the first time in a while.
