Is Drake reigniting his feud with Pusha T?
The 6 God has social media buzzing once again over the lyrics to his collaboration off Jack Harlow’s upcoming album Come Home the Kids Miss You. On his leaked verse, Drizzy appears to take shots at an unnamed rival.
“Everybody’s actin’ irreplaceable / It’s like they ain’t disposable / My urges for revenge are uncontrollable,” he raps on the song, which is reportedly titled “Have a Turn.” “I know we’re gettin’ older though, yeah / But I gotta get a ni**a back for that / It’s non-negotiable, it’s not even debatable.”
He continues to call out his opps. “All I hear is plug talk comin’ from middlemen / All I hear is tall tales comin’ from little men / When I say bitch, I’m very rarely referring to women / Most of the bitches I know are ni**as / They not even women.”
Later, he even references a Rolex Daytona timepiece. Pusha’s 2018 album was titled Daytona and featured his Drake diss “Infrared,” which led to Drake releasing his “Duppy Freestyle.” That was followed by Pusha’s scathing “Story of Adidon” on which he exposed Drake as a father.
“If I see ya, I spit in ya faces / Daytonas with the green faces,” Drake raps.
The controversial lyrics reignited a social media debate between Drake and Pusha fans as they revisited their storied feud.
Prior to this, Pusha–who’s gearing up for his new album It’s Almost Dry–appeared to have buried the four-year-old beef. “I’ve already looked past that,” he told Complex in February. “I don’t look towards that anymore. … Bygones are bygones, as far as I see.”
