Will Smith is setting the record straight about his marriage to Jada Pinkett Smith.

During an interview for “CBS Sunday Morning,” the King Richard actor was asked about his “unconventional” marriage to his wife, including rumors of infidelity in their 25-year relationship.

“Never. There’s never been infidelity in our marriage,” he told Gayle King. “Jada and I talk about everything and we have never surprised one another with anything, ever.”

The power couple’s marriage has often been a topic of discussion, but Smith welcomes the gossip. “I have decided that chatter about my life can be of a benefit to people,” he explained. “I think the chatter is the first stage to having a real conversation, and being able to truly explore if some of the things in your heart are loving, or poisonous.”

Back in July 2020, Jada admitted that she had an “entanglement” with August Alsina during her temporary separation from her husband. “I was in a lot of pain and I was very broken,” she said during her “Red Table Talk.” “I just wanted to feel good. It had been so long since I felt good.”

August even claimed that Will gave his “blessing” to the relationship. “I could actually see how he would perceive it as permission because we were separated amicably and I also think he wanted to make it clear that he’s not a homewrecker, which he’s not,” said Jada.

There was a point when the couple was unsure about their future together, but they were able to find “unconditional love.” “We never, ever, ever thought that we would make it back,” she said.

However, after 25 years of marriage, they realized their relationship can withstand anything. “We ride together, we die together. Bad marriage for life,” they said.
