Kanye West is threatening to pull out of Coachella unless Billie Eilish apologizes to Travis Scott.
On Thursday, the rapper shared a screenshot of a headline that claimed the “Happier Than Ever” singer “dissed” Travis during her recent concert.
“COME ON BILLIE WE LOVE YOU PLEASE APOLOGIZE TO TRAV AND TO THE FAMILIES OF THE PEOPLE WHO LOST THEIR LIVES,” he wrote while defending Travis after the tragedy at Astroworld, which resulted in 10 deaths.
“NO ONE INTENDED THIS TO HAPPEN TRAV DIDN’T HAVE ANY IDEA OF WHAT WAS HAPPENING WHEN HE WAS ON STAGE AND WAS VERY HURT BY WHAT HAPPENED,” he added.
Ye went on to reveal that Travis will be joining him when he headlines Coachella in April. But he threatened not to take the stage unless Billie, who is also headlining the festival, apologizes to Travis.
“YES TRAV WILL BE WITH ME AT COACHELLA BUT NOW I NEED BILLIE TO APOLOGIZE BEFORE I PERFORM.”
Last week, Billie stopped her concert in Atlanta to offer an inhaler to a fan who was having trouble breathing. “I wait for people to be OK until I keep going,” she said.
After Ye called her out, Billie responded by informing him that she did not mention Travis or the Astroworld tragedy during her show. “literally never said a thing about travis. was just helping a fan,” she commented.
T.I. was quick to side with Ye, reposting the story on his timeline and weighing in with his own thoughts. “I’m wit Ye’ on this…. Trav don’t deserve that. Especially not from her,” he wrote.
Later, Kanye reposted a fan’s comment insinuating that he is “off the meds” and that DONDA 2 is “gonna go crazy.”
“THE WORLD IS RACIST SEXIST HOMOPHOBIC AND CRAZY PHOBIC AT OUR CORE,” he said. “ITS CHEAP AND DISMISSIVE TO SAY IM OFF MY MEDS ANYTIME I SPEAK UP PHOBIA IN THIS SENSE DOESN’T MEAN BEING AFRAID OF IT MEANS NOT GIVING POWER TO LETS BE MORE CONSCIOUS AND NOT WRITE EACH OTHER OFF SO EASILY.”
