DONDA 2 has a date.

Just six months after releasing DONDA, Kanye West is set to drop the sequel. Taking to Instagram, he revealed that the follow-up to his 2021 album will arrive on Tuesday, Feb. 22, executive produced by Future.

“DONDA2 COMING 2 22 22 EXECUTIVE PRODUCED BY FUTURE,” he wrote alongside a photo of a billboard featuring his childhood home in flames with the release date.

Earlier this month, G.O.O.D. Music COO Steven Victor announced that DONDA 2 was happening. “Ye has started working on his new masterpiece DONDA 2,” he told Complex. Ye would later confirm the album in a text message conversation with Moneybagg Yo.

DONDA 2 is shaping up to be a star-studded affair. Ye has been spotted in the studio with Travis Scott, A$AP Rocky, Moneybagg Yo, Big Sean, The Game, Hit-Boy, Five Foreign, Pusha T, and more.

He is also planning to launch his clothing collaboration with Skid Row Fashion Week the same day as DONDA 2, with proceeds going towards creating more jobs for the homeless.

Ye’s 10th studio album, DONDA, was released to streaming services on Aug. 29, 2021 after a series of delays. It opened at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, featuring appearances from JAY-Z, Travis Scott, Playboi Carti, Lil Baby, Lil Durk, Roddy Ricch, and more.
