The Weeknd keeps the Dawn FM visuals coming with his latest for “Gasoline.”
The violent and gory clip, directed by Matilda Finn, opens with The Weeknd’s elderly persona crashing his car before finding himself at a dance party where he runs into the younger version of himself. The two Abels get into a bloody fight as partygoers egg them on, leaving the older Abel to die on the floor.
“Gasoline” is the third track off Dawn FM to receive a visual following “Sacrifice” and “Take My Breath.”
Dawn FM was released Friday featuring appearances from Lil Wayne, Tyler, the Creator, Quincy Jones, and Jim Carrey. The Weeknd revealed that the album is part of a trilogy that may also include his 2020 album After Hours and a third album called After Life.
