50 Cent is plotting his final act.

The rapper is once again teasing his retirement from rap. Taking to Instagram, 50 announced that his upcoming album could be his last.

“Smile my next album might be my last,” he captioned a video of his recent performance in Las Vegas. “I terrorized hip hop for 14 years, don’t believe me Nielsen, the numbers will never lie but i’m nobody’s favorite Smh.”

The rap veteran, whose debut album Get Rich or Die Tryin’ was released in 2003, went on to declare himself one of the greatest MCs of all time. “Nah 😈I’m Top 10 dead or alive,” he wrote before adding, “and i’m not done.”

50 has been contemplating retirement for years. He previously shared plans to hang up the mic after releasing his shelved album Street King Immortal.

“I want to finish with that project,” he told Muscle & Fitness in 2016. “I don’t want to write another record after that. You know how some artists got to have confirmation that they’re right. I have that confirmation in f*cking 35, 40 million [albums] that I already sold.”

50’s last studio album was 2014’s Animal Ambition, which debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200, with first-week sales of 46,000 copies.

In recent years, the 46-year-old mogul has found success in television with his “Power” franchise. He recently announced his latest series for Starz, “Queen Nzinga,” inspired by African warrior queen Nzingha Mbande.
