On what would have been his 23rd birthday, a new song from Juice WRLD has been released.

The late rapper is joined by Justin Bieber on “Wandered to LA” off his second posthumous album Fighting Demons.

“Wandered to LA hopin’ to explore / Little did I know, I’d find a little more,” sings Juice on the melodic track, while Bieber adds, “Reminiscin’ bout the days you broke my heart / Thankful that we worked it out, we come so far.”

In a trailer for their collaboration, both artists reflect on their battle with depression and addiction.

“I was waking up in the morning and the first thing I was doing was popping pills and smoking a joint and starting my day,” said Bieber. “My security and stuff was coming into the room at night to check my pulse. People don’t know how serious it got.”

“He would lock himself in his room and it’s because he would be withdrawing from the usage,” said one of Juice’s friends. In one of their last conversations, Juice told his mother that he was planning to go to rehab.

Juice hoped his struggles could help others. “I’m not the only one going through what’s happening,” he said. “Me talking about certain things can help somebody else through what they’re going through.”

“Wandered to LA” follows “Already Dead” off Fighting Demons, Juice WRLD’s second posthumous album, which arrives Dec. 10. His documentary Juice WRLD: Into the Abyss will premiere Dec. 16 on HBO Max.
