Juice WRLD’s legacy lives on.

A new album from the late Chicago rapper, Fighting Demons, is set for release Dec. 10.

The trailer finds Juice sharing his battles with drug addiction and depression in hopes that it helps others. “Pretty much you feel detached from yourself all the time,” he says. “Me talking about certain things could help somebody else through what they’re going through.”

In a statement, Juice’s mother, Carmela Wallace, added, “Jarad was always searingly honest about his struggles and through his musical genius he articulated what was on his heart and mind vividly through his art. He never gave up and his friends and family never gave up on offering their support to him. Today we announce a new album Fighting Demons out Dec 10th. We encourage all of you who struggle with addiction and mental health to never give up the fight.”

In April 2020, Wallace established the Live Free 999 Fund in her son’s honor to provide support to young people in their battles. Free support is being offered through the website LiveFree999.org.

The first single off Fighting Demons, “Already Dead,” will be available at streaming services tonight.

This marks the second posthumous album from Juice WRLD, following Legends Never Die, which was released in July and debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.
