NBA YoungBoy is back home.
The rapper was released from jail on Tuesday (Oct. 26) after posting a $500,000 cash bond. The St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office confirmed that he is no longer in custody. He had served seven months at a Louisiana prison in his federal gun case.
Following his homecoming, the first photo of him surfaced online. The 22-year-old MC appears to be in good spirits, smiling while posing with his arm around a young girl at an undisclosed location in Utah.
As part of the conditions of his release, YoungBoy must remain under home confinement in Utah and will be required to wear an ankle monitor. He won’t be allowed to leave the residence and only his family can live with him. Other restrictions include a ban on guns and drugs. He must also submit to drug testing.
YoungBoy was arrested in March following a pursuit with police. He had an outstanding warrant on drug and weapons charges from a September 2020 arrest in Baton Rouge. He pleaded not guilty to one count of felon in possession of a firearm and one count of possession of an unregistered firearm and is awaiting trial.
While he was behind bars, he released his album Sincerely, Kentrell, which topped the Billboard 200. He reportedly welcomed his eighth child in late September.
