Time flies.
Drake celebrated his son Adonis’ 4th birthday with a race car-themed party. The record-breaking rapper spared no expense, shutting down Toronto’s LEGOLAND Discovery Centre and throwing an epic bash. In one pic, Champagne Papi posed alongside his son in front of a wall of grey, blue, and red balloons and a sign that read “Adonis Races Into 4.”
“💖TEACHA💖 MORE LIFE KID,” he captioned it.
Drizzy was smiling ear to ear as he held Adonis and snapped a black-and-white photo in the photo booth with the caption “Happy 4th Birthday Adonis.”
In one sweet video, Adonis could be seen leading a Bugs Bunny mascot—wearing LeBron James’ Space Jam jersey—by the hand and giving him popcorn. Adonis is a LeBron fan. Drake previously shared video of his son watching a YouTube highlights reel of the Lakers champ’s top 35 plays.
After confirming that he had a son on his 2018 album Scorpion, Drake shared photos of Adonis for the first time on social media in March 2020 and even brought him on stage while accepting the Billboard Artist of the Decade Award in May.
“I want to be able to go places with my son and share memories with my son,” he told Lil Wayne on Young Money Radio. “I don’t want to feel like just because of a life choice I made to be a ‘celebrity’ that I got to make everybody live under this blanket. So, I just wanted to free myself of that.”
Meanwhile, Certified Lover Boy holds at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 this week. While going live on Instagram over the weekend, Adele revealed that CLB is her favorite album of 2021 so far.
