Adele’s comeback may be near.

On Friday (Oct. 1), a series of mysterious billboards started popping up across the globe with the number “30,” which could signal Adele’s first album in six years.

Fan accounts shared photos of two “30” billboards appearing in Dubai and Ireland. “Something is happening,” tweeted Adele Daily.

To add to the speculation, Adele’s close friend Jedidiah Jenkins also liked tweets that reported about the billboards.

Fans speculated that the 15-time Grammy winner could be dropping new music as soon as this week after Canadian radio host Mauler tweeted, “New Adele. This week.” However, the tweet was later deleted.

Another fan page cited a “very reliable insider” who said that Adele’s long-awaited fourth album had been finalized and that a video for the lead single was recently shot.

The 30 title would follows Adele’s previous pattern of naming albums after her age following 2018’s 19, 2011’s 21, and 2015’s 25.
