Kanye West has taken up residence at Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
Following reports that he had moved into the 71,000-seat stadium to finish his 10th studio album DONDA, West shared a photo of his bedroom on Instagram. His modest living quarters includes a twin bed, a TV mounted to the wall, and a locker-sized closet. The 44-year-old billionaire appears to be living out of his suitcase including four pairs of his Yeezy sneakers.
His manager Bu Thiam also shared a photo of a placard outside the door that reads, “Donda Studio at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.” “He’s locked in,” said Thiam.
Kanye has been staying at the stadium since hosting his sold-out listening event last Thursday. He was also spotted in attendance at a soccer match over the weekend. According to The Associated Press, he plans to stay at the stadium while completing DONDA.
The album, which was slated to arrive last Friday, is now due Aug. 6. During his live-streamed listening party, Ye debuted tracks with Lil Baby, Lil Durk, Pusha T, Travis Scott, and Roddy Ricch, as well as a surprise collaboration featuring JAY-Z.
