Mike Jones has found himself back in the headlines following a viral video.

In the clip, which was posted to TikTok, a man on the street conducts an interview where he asks others for advice on “how to get out from the ‘hood.” He and another woman weigh in with their thoughts before a white man is asked the same question.

“I don’t know. I didn’t grow up there,” he says before being invited to the ‘hood.

“I like Mike Jones, f**k it, I’ll get down,” adds the white man before grabbing the mic and busting out an impromptu performance of Jones’ 2004 classic “Still Tippin’.” He passionately delivers the lyrics while the woman cheers him on.

The video started trending before catching the attention of Mike Jones himself. The Houston rap legend reposted it and is now hoping to meet the mystery fan who rapped his song.

“Can somebody find the dude that spit my verse , & have em DM me , gotta show em love on LIVE or something , cuz that was 💯 & came out of no where‼️” he wrote. “let’s me kno and hopefully let y’all kno , that real music can’t & wont die!”
