Bas drops the top and rides out on his summer anthem “The Jackie” featuring J. Cole and Lil Tjay.

The Dreamville crew captures the spirit of summer in the accompanying video, which finds Cole playing an Uber driver. He picks up Bas and his girl in his old school convertible and rides through the city before hitting up a block party.

The fun-filled visual also features a cameo from social media star Mark Phillips, who is known for his comedic YouTube skits where he parodies J. Cole’s fans. After spotting Bas and Cole, Phillips breaks out into his signature character.

The song title was inspired by Jackie Robinson Highway in Bas and Lil Tjay’s hometown of New York, which also serves as a second home for J. Cole.

In addition to “The Jackie,” Bas can be heard on three tracks off J. Cole’s chart-topping album The Off-Season. As he gears up for his next project, Bas will also perform at several festivals including Day N Vegas, Rolling Loud, and the Dreamville Festival.
