Lil Baby is clapping back at Logan Paul after he criticized his music in a resurfaced clip.
“Lil Baby, he’ll pop up on my Spotify… I’m scrolling through, and I can’t fu**ing get away from Lil Baby songs,” Paul said on a March 2020 episode of his “Impaulsive” podcast. “I’m all for the new artists, but this one in particular I have no idea what he’s saying. I have none. And it all sounds the same, his tone is the same, it’s all the same. I give him a year.”
Paul’s criticism followed the February 2020 release of Baby’s album My Turn, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. However, his comments did not age well as Lil Baby went on to become one of hip-hop’s most successful and respected MCs.
After Paul’s comments resurfaced on social media, the “On Me” rapper responded by taking a shot at the internet personality. “Logan who?” Baby tweeted while touting his success. “More like give em a year to have 100ms.”
Lil Baby scored another No. 1 album recently with his Lil Durk joint project, The Voice of the Heroes. He and Durk will hit the road on the “Back Outside Tour,” which kicks off Sept. 1.
