Wale is back with the sequel.

The D.C. rapper has announced his first album in nearly two years, Folarin 2. The sequel to his 2012 mixtape Folarin is set to arrive this summer, he announced on Twitter.

“I understand you may feel how you feel for whatever soembody [sic] told you … but I just wanna reiterate that I’m one of the greatest of all time,” tweeted Wale. “Catalog .Consistency. Influence. Longevity . DMV. With that said #Folarin2 this summer.”

The album, which follows 2019’s Wow… That’s Crazy, has already spawned the Diddy-sampled single “Angles” with Chris Brown, for which he also released a summer-ready video.

Wale’s mixtape Folarin dropped on Dec. 24, 2012 and featured the 3x platinum hit “Bad” with Tiara Thomas, plus appearances from Rick Ross, 2 Chainz, Nipsey Hussle, French Montana, and Jhené Aiko.
