T.I. is leaving the game behind.
The Grand Hustle rapper has reiterated plans to release his “final album” Kill the King. He made the announcement at the end of his new video for “What It’s Come To,” revealing that the follow-up to last year’s The L.I.B.R.A. is “coming soon.”
In the video, he addresses the numerous women who have accused him and his wife Tiny of sexual misconduct, insinuating that it’s all part of a plan to take them down.
“I keep none against they will / If they leave, that’s they disadvantage,” raps Tip. “The object of the game is kill the king / So till the blade meet my neck on guillotine.”
He questions the credibility of his accusers, who exchange text messages trying to frame the couple. “Ok y’all got stories about Tip & Tiny?” asks one woman, while another responds, “Oh I got all kinds of shit I can make up…”
In a later scene, he mocks the lawyer representing several of the women, showing them at a press conference before a piano falls out of the sky and crushes them.
Last month, the LAPD launched a criminal investigation after meeting with one of the couple’s accusers. T.I. and Tiny have strongly denied the allegations, while their lawyer says the claims are part of “a sordid shakedown campaign.”
