Big Sean is celebrating the lady in his life.
In honor of her 33rd birthday on Tuesday (March 16), Sean penned a heartfelt tribute to his “Pisces queen” and fellow “88 Gang member” Jhené Aiko, sharing a photo of a young Jhené along with recent pics including one of the couple at Sunday’s Grammys.
“The most beautiful, determined, hard working, coolest, magical, emotional, honest, emotionally honest, easily annoyed, rare, extremely generous being/healer/ fighter/lover/ writer,” gushed Sean, adding, “You deserve to be celebrated. Thank you, I love you!!”
The birthday girl thanked her fans for their well wishes. “walking into my 33rd year like 😊 here’s to 33 years of being the baby hair God 🙏🏼 lol. thank you for the birthday wishes. i love u,” said Jhené.
The couple has often expressed their love for each other on social media. In a recent interview with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe, Jhené opened up about their relationship.
“We’ll both be 33 in March. And so, like I said, we’re on the same path, it feels like,” she said. “And it’s just kind of what we’re going through in our thirties at the same time, but because we’re so close, we’re constantly discussing it with each other and giving each other advice…We have a great friendship.”
Fans have been anxiously awaiting new music from the TWENTY88 duo. Last year, Sean said that a follow-up to TWENTY88’s debut album was “in the works.”
Jhené celebrated her birthday by releasing her debut mixtape Sailing Soul(s) to streaming services in honor of the project’s 10th anniversary. Sean recently announced that his mixtape Detroit will be available on all streaming platforms next month.
