Saweetie’s relationship with her label has turned sour.

The “ICY GRL” is feeling “disrespected” after Warner Bros. Records prematurely released her new single “Best Friend” featuring Doja Cat to streaming services on Friday. Taking to social media, a “disappointed” Saweetie put her label on blast in front of her millions of followers.

“I am extremely disappointed in my label WBR for prematurely releasing a single I was so excited about,” she said. “I feel disrespected. I’m hands on with ALL of my creative & had such a dope rollout for ‘best friends’.”

The song was later removed, but that didn’t stop Saweetie from continuing to air out WBR, claiming the move was done for profit. “The thirst for clout & $ is real & it overrides the artists’ art,” she added.

To make matters worse, the version that was released was not the final. A video was also shot for the “girl anthem,” but Saweetie feels that this has diminished all her hard work.

“We put so much work into the visual & we shot for days for this super cinematic girl anthem. And for this to happen? wow….” she added.

Before logging off, she thanked her fans for always holding her down. “Icy gang always dealing with the bs with me no matter what it means so much. I LOVE y’all,” she tweeted. “I’m bout to fix this nail & go to sleep. Goodnight.”

Just last month, Saweetie released a video for her Jhené Aiko collaboration “Back to the Streets” from her forthcoming album Pretty B*tch Music.
