2020 has even taken a toll on Drake.

The Canadian superstar is out of commission after suffering what appears to be a knee injury. Taking to his Instagram Stories on Friday, Drizzy shared a photo of himself laid up in bed with a knee brace on his right leg.

“New challenged unlocked,” he captioned it.

He deleted the pic and posted another photo with a more inspiring caption. “I actually want to use this post to send love and motivation to anybody else that 2020 let loose on,” he said. “Start writing the best bounce back story NOW.”

While he didn’t reveal what exactly happened to his leg, fans have speculated that he tore his ACL and had to undergo knee surgery.

The injury may be keeping Drake out of the studio. On his birthday (Oct. 24), he announced that his long-awaited album Certified Lover Boy won’t arrive until January 2021. The project, which has spawned the Lil Durk-assisted hit “Laugh Now Cry Later,” was originally set for release over the summer.

Ahead of the album, he launched a Certified Lover Boy capsule collaboration with Nike, which includes bomber jackets, hoodies, and T-shirts with the “CLB” logo.
