Tory Lanez has resurfaced after remaining out of the public eye since last month’s shooting involving Megan Thee Stallion.
Earlier this week, the Canadian rapper was spotted for the first time at a McDonald’s in Orlando, Fla. Tory can be seen jumping inside the restaurant while accompanied by his dog Charlie. An eyewitness claims he was talking to a homeless man doing push-ups.
Tory has remained off social media since the shooting on July 12. He was arrested for carrying a concealed weapon in a vehicle following a dispute outside a house party in the Hollywood Hills. During the incident, shots were fired and Megan Thee Stallion suffered multiple gunshot wounds in the feet. The LAPD is currently investigating allegations that Tory was the trigger man.
Despite erroneous reports, the Toronto native has not been deported from the U.S. “Obviously Tory has not been deported and is self-quarantining with his family,” a source tells The Neighborhood Talk. “This is a perfect example of false information being spread regarding this case, his whereabouts and his character. He’s in good spirits and looks forward to having the truth come to light about that night and wishes nothing but the best for Meg.”
Following the shooting, Megan recounted the harrowing experience, but did not mention Tory by name. “I suffered gunshot wounds, as a result of a crime that was committed against me and done with the intention to physically harm me,” said Meg, who had to have surgery to remove the bullets. “I’m incredibly grateful to be alive and that I’m expected to make a full recovery, but it was important for me to clarify the details about this traumatic night.”
