Jacquees and Chris Brown are putting in work.
The R&B superstars are teaming up on a new collaboration called “Put in Work.” They shot a video for the OG Parker-produced track on Wednesday at Chris’ house in the San Fernando Valley. Photos from the set show a blonde Chris shooting scenes on his basketball court and riding with Jacquees in a Lamborghini.
“‘Put in Work’ on the way,” said Jacquees in his Instagram video, while adding the hashtag #LamborghiniBoyz in the caption.
After a long day of shooting, they finally wrapped in the early hours of Thursday. “Love u got ya back 4 ever,” Jacquees told Breezy.
It’s unclear if the song is part of a larger project. In 2018, Jacquees announced plans for a joint mixtape with Breezy, but it never materialized. “We wanted to make R&B,” he told Rap-Up. “Chris got other projects that he’s working on now where he’s doing a lot of rapping and giving you all types of flavor, but on this one, he really wanted to sing and go at it. He was like, ‘We’re gonna kill ’em with this R&B.'”
The two previously collaborated on 2014’s “Won’t Turn It Down” and 2018’s “All My Life.” Both artists are nominated for Best Male R&B/Pop Artist at the 2020 BET Awards on Sunday.
