Another day, another diss from 6ix9ine.
The “Trollz” rapper is still celebrating his first No. 1 single on the Billboard Hot 100 and calling out those who doubted him. After putting streaming services and other fan bases on blast yesterday, 6ix9ine is making a list and “dragging” other rappers including Future, Meek Mill, and Gucci Mane.
In his minute-long video, he addressed his numerous rivals. “Today I’m No. 1 in the world, right? And I just wanna address a couple things. I wanna drag them some more,” he said before pulling out a piece of paper. “I got a list!”
He started by once again clowning Future for not having any solo No. 1 records. “You’ve been rapping for close to a decade,” said Tekashi. “You have many Drake features but you never went No. 1.”
Next on his hit list was frequent target Meek Mill, who he claims has been rapping for “close to a decade” without a No. 1. “You never went No. 1 either,” he added.
He didn’t stop there, calling out the “little guys,” including Lil Durk (“You’re pretty local, you never went No. 1, sir”) and G Herbo (“I don’t think you entered the top 100”).
Gucci Mane also felt Tekashi’s wrath (“Never been No. 1 either, sir”) as well as Trippie Redd. “We’re signed to the same label, never went No. 1,” he said of his 10K Projects labelmate, while wearing a Trippie Redd shirt.
He ended by addressing the entire New York rap community: “Every New York rapper that’s a male that’s not old, you never been No. 1.”
6ix9ine and Nicki Minaj’s “Trollz” debuted atop the Hot 100 this week with 116,000 units sold, the highest weekly sales sum in over a year. Upon hearing the news, a defiant Tekashi declared victory against his detractors.
“YOU CANT STOP ME. YOU CANT BLACKBALL ME,” he wrote. “YOU CAN SAY WHAT EVER IM NUMBER 1 AND YOU CANT TAKE THAT FROM ME I WENT UP AGAINST THE MUSIC INDUSTRY AND WON!!!!!!!!!”
