Drake will be looking for revenge all summer 2020.

In addition to releasing his surprise project Dark Lane Demo Tapes on Friday, Champagne Papi revealed that his sixth studio album will arrive this summer. Taking to Instagram, he made the big announcement.

“Also my 6th STUDIO ALBUM DROPPING SUMMER 2020!!! Lucky number 6 😈 soon fwd,” he told his 66 million followers.

In the early hours of Friday morning, he went on Instagram Live to preview some new music that may make the album including a collaboration with Roddy Ricch and one song where he sings in French. “All you do is lie to me / Lies don’t excite me / I’m lonely,” sings Drake on one unreleased track.

Drake previously spoke about the follow-up to 2018’s Scorpion. “Album’s on the way, ’bout to slap head tops off,” he said last month, while revealing that the project will be shorter than Scorpion, which had 25 songs. “This album, I’ll probably make it a more realistic offering, something more concise.”

Dark Lane Demo Tapes dropped at midnight featuring the No. 1 hit “Toosie Slide,” in addition to collaborations with Chris Brown, Playboi Carti, Future, and Young Thug.
