Quarantine Baby.
Hot off the release of his sophomore album Blame It On Baby, DaBaby shows how he’s staying corona free in the video for “Jump,” his collaboration with YoungBoy Never Broke Again.
The Reel Goats-directed clip, which was shot amid the pandemic, finds DaBaby and YoungBoy locked in the house during quarantine. It opens with a news reporter for Billion Dollar Baby News broadcasting outside of Baby’s house before the rapper pulls up and douses him with disinfectant and water.
After sanitizing his hands, an animated DaBaby gets to work, showing off his dance moves and cleaning skills while a crew in hazmat suits wipes down the place. With cash in his hand and a mask on his face, YoungBoy makes it “jump like crack in the ’80s.”
The DJ Kid-produced “Jump” is one of many collaborations on Blame It On Baby, which also includes appearances from Future, Megan Thee Stallion, Ashanti, Roddy Ricch, and Quavo.
