Cardi B welcomed a very special guest during her latest Instagram Live.

On Tuesday, the rapper got all glammed up while checking in with her 62 million followers from quarantine. In between eating a mango, she revealed that she had been feeling “so nasty, so unattractive” because of the coronavirus and finally did her nails to help lift her spirits.

“I’ve been really sad because so many people around me have been going through a lot of shit,” said Cardi. “It’s hard to feel good when so many people around you is going through a lot of shit.”

She then surprised her followers by going live with Democratic presidential runner-up Bernie Sanders for a discussion about the upcoming election, the impacts of coronavirus, and even their nails. “Uncle Bernie! Big Booty got Uncle Bernie in my live!” said Cardi. “Uncle Bernie, how you doing?”

Sanders then showed Cardi his fingernails. “I’m good Cardi, I want you to take a look at my nails. How are they looking?” he asked.

“They’re looking very quarantine. I can tell you’ve been in quarantine quite a while now by your nails, but you know what, it’s OK,” she responded.

She then expressed her sadness over him dropping out of the presidential race. “I had a fit because I was so hurt and upset that you dropped out of the race and everything,” she said. “I was really upset because I keep telling the youth and I keep telling my people and my supporters that you guys really have to go and vote. Now we’re stuck between 45 [President Trump], we ain’t going to name him over here, and Joe Biden.”

Cardi said she plans to vote for Biden, but admitted that she had not done her research on the former Vice President. “And you know me, since I’ve been so on you and so focused on you, I haven’t really done my research well on Joe Biden,” said Cardi, who fears that the country is about to enter a recession.

She also said she was “excited” to see that Barack Obama and Sanders had endorsed Biden. “A lot of people, like the youth, they don’t really rock with Joe Biden because he’s conservative,” she said.

Sanders revealed that he intended to endorse whatever Democrat won the nomination in order to defeat Trump, who he calls “the most dangerous president in the modern history of America.” “This is a bad news guy that has got to be defeated and I will do everything that I can to defeat him,” said the Vermont senator.
