Drake’s “Toosie Slide” could have featured a verse from Lil Baby.
The Atlanta rapper took to Instagram to reveal that Drake sent him the TikTok-inspired track a month ago. “@champagnepapi Sent Me This Song A Month Ago,” he wrote alongside a screenshot of the cover artwork.
The only problem is that he forgot to send back his verse. “My Dumb Ass Ain’t Send The Verse Bacc 💀 !!” he added.
While he shocked fans with his revelation, he said that the two have more music on the way. “But That’s Big Bro We Got Shit Comingggggg !!!” added Baby.
Drake wasn’t sweating it ether. “That’s light we got more work to do!!!” he responded.
Tory Lanez also popped up in the comments to share his own frustration. “At least he got time to send u verses,” he joked. “I still ain’t get shit.”
“Toosie Slide” is already proving to be a hit, with or without Lil Baby. The video, which was shot at Drake’s Toronto mansion, has been viewed over 4 million times in less than 24 hours and the song is topping the Spotify and Apple Music charts.
Drake and Baby previously collaborated on their 2018 hit “Yes Indeed.” Baby also recently jumped on the remix to Drake and Future’s “Life Is Good.”
In February, Baby released his album My Turn, which became his first No. 1 on the Billboard 200. He is now readying his Lamborghini Boys mixtape for release in May.
