Tory Lanez’s New Toronto 3 is on the way.

Less than five months after dropping Chixtape 5, the Canadian rapper-singer has announced that his next project The New Toronto 3 is due next month. “ITS OFFICIAL, NEW TORONTO 3 COMES OUT MARCH !!!!” tweeted Tory.

He also revealed that it will be his last album with Interscope Records. “AND AS SOON AS YOU HEAR IT … I HAVE OFFICIALLY FINISHED MY DEAL WITH INTERSCOPE … ITS BEEN REAL,” he wrote alongside a series of exploding head emojis.

According to Tory, he fulfilled his commitment to the label. “And it’s no bad blood with the label @Interscope … I HAD A 5 ALBUM DEAL ….I GAVE THEM 12 PROJECTS /ALBUMS if u include all the mixtapes with original music . I can OFFICIALLY go on record and say I exceeded that 5 ALBUM MARK … AND IM STILL JUST GETTING MY FEET IN THE WATER.”

He made the same announcement during his recent “Chixtape Live” tour. “And after that, no label,” he said at the L.A. stop on Feb. 20, during which he brought out Chris Brown, Snoop Dogg, T-Pain, and Ty Dolla $ign.

Tory has expressed his frustrations with Interscope in the past. In December, he put his label on blast on Instagram before deleting the post. “Interscope Records… If yall ni**as dont stop playing w/ me… Ima expose whats really going on in that fucking building!!!!!” he wrote. “Y’all play w me if u want to …. Let’s play… y’all got the right fucking one.”

The New Toronto 3 marks the third installment in Tory’s popular mixtape series, which started in 2015. He released the sequel, The New Toronto 2, in 2017. In November, he dropped the nostalgic Chixtape 5 featuring appearances from Lil Wayne, Ashanti, and Chris Brown.

His prolific output continues. Earlier this month, Tory debuted his latest single “Broke in a Minute” and can be heard on collaborations with G-Eazy (“Still Be Friends”) and NGHTMRE (“Wrist”).
