Drake is getting some presidential props.

On Tuesday, the “Life Is Good” rapper took to his Instagram Story to share a thank you letter that he received from Barack and Michelle Obama after he wished their daughter Sasha for her 16th birthday. It was dated June 7, 2017 and printed on the official Obama stationery.

“We wanted to thank you for taking the time to send Sasha your best wishes at her sweet sixteen,” writes the former First Family. “We hope you know how happy we were to have your message included as part of the celebration.”

Added the couple, “Again, thank you. You have our heartfelt gratitude.”

Sasha is a Drake fan. She was once photographed wearing his OVO hat with the owl logo, which Drake posted on Instagram. “Style Popper,” he captioned the 2017 pic.

In a 2016 interview with YouTube, Obama was asked who would win in a rap battle between Drake and Kendrick Lamar. “Gotta go with Kendrick,” said the former POTUS before giving Drake props. “I think Drake is an outstanding entertainer, but Kendrick, his lyrics… His last album [To Pimp a Butterfly] was outstanding. Best album, I think, last year.”

The Obamas have shown love to Drizzy before. They selected his Rihanna collaboration “Too Good” for their summer 2019 playlist.
