French Montana remains hospitalized for a medical emergency.
The rapper was admitted to the hospital on Thursday and has been in ICU for six days. According to TMZ, doctors are still struggling to resolve his health issues. French took to Twitter to share an update on Monday morning, posting video from his bed at West Hills Hospital.
“6 days in icu,” he captioned it with the prayer hand emoji.
He appears to be hooked up to IVs. There is a dry erase board in the room, with the words “manage pain” and “mobilize” written on it.
The 35-year-old rapper was rushed to the hospital last week after experiencing intense nausea, stomach pain, and an elevated heart rate. L.A. County Sheriff’s deputies were called to his Calabasas home for a possible robbery that turned out to be a false alarm. They felt he was intoxicated and suggested he go to the hospital.
It’s unclear what triggered his health issues, but French has traveled to the Middle East and Europe over the last couple weeks. Those close to him suspected that he could have been exposed to contaminated food, but it seems unlikely since his symptoms have persisted.
