Lizzo, Lil Nas X, and Billie Eilish lead the nominees for the 62nd annual Grammy Awards.

Lizzo is the most nominated artist with eight, including Album of the Year (Cuz I Love You (Deluxe)), Record of the Year (“Truth Hurts”), Song of the Year (“Truth Hurts”), and Best New Artist. Additionally, she received nods for Best Urban Contemporary Album and Best R&B Performance for “Exactly How I Feel” featuring Gucci Mane and Best Traditional R&B Performance for “Jerome.”

Taking to social media, a grateful Lizzo reacted to her first Grammy nominations. “THANK YOU,” she tweeted. “THIS HAS BEEN AN INCREDIBLE YEAR FOR MUSIC AND IM JUST SO THANKFUL TO EVEN BE PART OF IT.”

Lil Nas X and Eilish follow with six nominations each. Nas is this year’s leading male nominee, earning nods for Record of the Year (“Old Town Road”), Best New Artist, Best Rap/Sung Collaboration (“Panini”), Best Pop Duo/Group Performance (“Old Town Road”), Best Music Video/Film (“Old Town Road”), and Album of the Year for his debut EP 7.

Eilish, 17, set a record as the youngest nominee in Grammy history to receive nominations for Record of the Year (“Bad Guy”), Album of the Year (When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?), Song of the Year (“Bad Guy”), and Best New Artist.

Ariana Grande earned five Grammy noms, including Album of the Year for Thank U, Next and Record of the Year for “7 Rings.” Two-time winner H.E.R. landed five noms, including Album of the Year for I Used to Know Her and Song and Record of the Year for “Hard Place.”

In the Best Rap Album category, the nominees include Dreamville’s Revenge of the Dreamers III, Meek Mill’s Championships, 21 Savage’s i am > i was, Tyler, the Creator’s IGOR, and YBN Cordae’s The Lost Boy.

The late Nipsey Hussle, who was nominated for Best Rap Album last year, received three nominations including Best Rap Performance (“Racks in the Middle”), Best Rap/Sung Collaboration (“Higher”), and Best Rap Song (“Racks in the Middle”).

To be eligible, recordings must have been released between Oct. 1, 2018 and Aug. 31, 2019. Hosted by Alicia Keys, the 62nd annual Grammy Awards will air live from Los Angeles’ Staples Center on Sunday, Jan. 26, on CBS.
