Father stretch my hands.
Hot off the No. 1 debut of Jesus Is King, Kanye West unveils the album’s first visual for “Follow God.”
The clip, directed by Jake Schreier (Francis and the Lights), was shot against the snowy backdrop of Kanye’s sprawling $14 million ranch in Cody, Wyoming, and showcases the bond with his father, Ray West. Father and son don wintery attire while riding a snow plow across the frozen tundra, complete with donkeys and alpacas.
“It took me 42 years to realize that my dad was my best friend,” said Kanye. “He asked me, ‘How many acres is this?’ I told him 4000. He replied with these three words: ‘A black man?'”
“Follow God” debuted at No. 7 on the Billboard Hot 100 and is currently the highest-charting single off Jesus Is King, which became Kanye’s ninth consecutive No. 1 debut on the Billboard 200, tying Eminem for the longest streak in the chart’s history.
Earlier this week, the presidential hopeful rented out the Burberry store on 5th Ave. in New York where he screened the video for friends including A$AP Rocky and Tyler, the Creator.
