It’s time to eat.

After much anticipation, Travis Scott unleashes the long-awaited “Highest in the Room.” The track first appeared in an ad for Kylie Jenner’s Kybrow collection in April and Travis has been performing it during his live shows.

“I’ve been ready to drop this shit forever,” he told Apple Music’s Beats 1. “I was just performing it at a point where I’ve done it at so many shows, and it’s been so fun doing it, I was like, I gotta just drop this, and I’m gearing up for something more special to come following that.”

While fans will have to wait for the follow-up to Astroworld, he hinted that something else could drop before that. “I’m at the point where I’m just trying to cook up some dope shit and drop ‘Highest in the Room,’ and maybe put something around it. I’m in no rush frankly, but I’m taking my time to come up with the next album. I’m always down to drop music and serve some packs to the fans. It’s time for the fans to eat.”

The newly-single rapper will headline his second annual ASTROWORLD Festival on Nov. 9 at NRG Park in his hometown of Houston. He also revealed that Pharrell will be taking the stage to perform some N.E.R.D. classics. “I’m definitely putting a lot more energy into it this year,” said Travis. “I’ll say we’ll for sure have Skateboard in the building kicking some of them classic tunes that I grew up listening to my whole fucking life.”

Along with the song, Travis has also dropped a trippy video for “Highest in the Room,” which he directed with Dave Meyers. Watch below.
